Principal's Message

Dear Parents and Carers

This year is our School's Review Year, which is a cyclical process during which we look to create our plan moving forward to ensure the continued quality education, growth and development of students in our school.  We will be supported by DOSEL staff as we work through this to ensure we are meeting the requirements of the Victorian Registration and Qualifications Authority (VRQA)

We remind you that every minute at school counts.

Going to school every day is the single most important part of your child’s education. Students learn new things at school every day. Attending and participating in school will help your child develop:
-important skills and knowledge to help them learn
-social and emotional skills such as good communication, resilience and teamwork
Children who attend school every day and complete year 12 have:
-better health
-better job opportunities
-higher income across their lives.
Every minute matters -
Being just 10 minutes late every day or leaving 10 minutes early adds up to nearly half a year of lost schooling over the 13 years journey from Foundation to Year 12.

Carpark and Safety
Please ensure you travel safely through the carpark and with patience as both pedestrians and cars use the area.  We also ask everyone to use the designated school crossings when they are crossing Majestic Drive.  Our "Kiss & Drop" areas are exactly that - cars are not to be parked and left unattended in this area.  Thank you for your cooperation, as this is vital to ensure smooth collection and dismissal of 600 students.

The slip parking on Majestic Drive outside the school near the admin building is a Drop-Off and Pick-Up area only between the hours of 8am and 9.30am and 2.30pm and 4pm.  During these times you are only permitted to be parked for 2 minutes to allow the drop off and pick up of students, vehicles are not to be left unattaended.

Buses will be exempt.  Council will be patrolling the area so please ensure you follow the signage installed
