Principal's Message
Dear Parents and Carers
This Friday, 21 March is Harmony Day. On this day St Clare's will be celebrating it's Cultural Diversity. There are activities planned which will take place in the classes over the day and students are encouraged to wear Cultural Dress or a touch of orange. We remind you though that classes will operate as normal so plesae ensure they are wearing attire that allows them to particpate in PE and Art if it is their day for these subjects.
OPEN DAY
This Saturday, 22 March, we have our Open Day from 10am until 12pm. If you know of anyone looking to enrol at St Clare's in 2026 encourage them to come along to view the school and collect an enrolment pack.
CONGRATULATIONS
Three of our staff, Alisha Johnston, Trish Piccolo and Caitlyn Seamer, have been selected to particpate in the Diocesan Leadership Porgam. As part of this program they have a 3 Day Conference from Wedneday 2 April to Friday 4 April.
We welcome another baby to the St Clare's Community, Mrs Rebecca Simmons had a baby girl on 11 March - welcome Bethany!
UNIFORM UPDATE
As mentioned last week, we have a new shirt that will replace the exisitng white shirt and we are removing the ties from the school uniform. We have been provided with a sample of the shirt which has been well liked by the students and parents who have seen it. Here is a photo but it does not do justice to how smart it looks in real life. We have been advised by Noone that the shirts should be available early Term 2.
Students will be able to wear either the existing white shirts or the new unisex shirts during the change over of uniform. We envisage that all students will be wearing the new shirts by 2027.
