NEW PLAYGROUND
A week in - and the new playground is well-received by our students. With the input of student voice, there will be opportunities soon for other year levels to play on the larger field at times. After discussions with students, it was decided that the priority was given to Year 5&6 students initially as it was recognised by students that ‘they had waited the longest’ and that safety was the core concern, therefore ‘everyone cannot play on the same areas at the same time’.
Over the holiday break, the outdoor learning space and garden area will be completed and works will begin on the Indigeneous Garden.
It will make for a beautiful space where our students can relax, play and be creative in.
First Eucharist
Eucharist is one of the Sacraments of initiation into the Catholic Church, together with Baptism and Confirmation. Celebration of the sacraments is an integral part of our faith formation. You can help your child prepare in many ways, e.g., attending Mass regularly and ensuring your child know Mass responses and prayers.
Traditionally students celebrate First Eucharist in Year 4. If you child is in Year 5 or 6 but has not had the opportunity to celebrat First Eucharist and you would like them to please onctact Gab Verstraete via email gverstraete@stclaresofficer.catholic.edu.au
